How it works
The plugin is an MCP server, the open standard ChatGPT and Claude use to talk to other apps. For you it simply means CRM Connector answers inside the chat you already use.
Ask ChatGPT or Claude what can sync between the systems you use, or describe what should happen when a deal is won or an invoice is paid.
It answers which record types travel, in which direction, when a record travels and which filters apply. Ask for a setup and you get a link that opens the CRM Connector wizard already filled in.
Connect your CRM Connector account and ask how your integrations are doing: what failed this week, what is waiting, when a sync last ran.
What you can ask
Name the systems you use: QuickBooks Online, Xero, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Jobber and more. The answers come from the same rules the platform itself runs on.
What can sync with what, in which direction, when a record travels, and a ready setup.

Your data
You approve access on a consent screen when you sign in. Access is read only: it never changes an integration or a record.
Change your mind any time: in CRM Connector, open Settings, Security, Connected AI assistants and revoke access. It stops within half a minute.
How to add it
CRM Connector is coming to the ChatGPT plugin directory and the Claude connectors directory. Until then you add it by hand, with the same address in both.
Needs developer mode, which you switch on once.
Turn on developer mode: Settings, Security and login, Developer mode.
Open Plugins under Settings or Customize, choose Add, then MCP app.
Enter the name and the server URL.

Choose Connect and sign in with your CRM Connector account.
Works on every plan; the free plan allows one custom connector.
Open Customize, then Connectors.
Choose Add custom connector.
Enter the name and the server URL.

Choose Connect and sign in with your CRM Connector account.

Business or Enterprise workspace? An admin may have to allow custom plugins or connectors first. In Claude Team and Enterprise, an owner adds it under Organization settings, Connectors.
