Salesforce and QuickBooks Online
Every won Salesforce opportunity, a QuickBooks invoice to send
Every opportunity won in Salesforce becomes a draft QuickBooks Online invoice for its primary contact, and an estimate sent from QuickBooks becomes an opportunity that follows it, so sales and finance see the same sale.

How it works
From a quote to a draft invoice
What happens on every sync, and where your team takes over.
- 1
In Salesforce
Your contacts stay the same in both
- Contacts go from Salesforce into QuickBooks Online, or both ways if you like, so a won opportunity's invoice finds its customer.
- 2
In QuickBooks Online
Quotes go out, sales follows
- Optional. A QuickBooks estimate that is sent becomes a Salesforce opportunity named after it, in your first open stage.
- Accepted moves it to your first won stage; declined or expired to your first lost stage.
- 3
In Salesforce
The opportunity is won
- A draft invoice is created in QuickBooks Online for the opportunity's primary contact, dated the day it closed, with one line for its amount.
- An opportunity that came from a QuickBooks quote is never invoiced again: QuickBooks turns the quote into the invoice itself.
- 4
In QuickBooks Online
You send it
- Nothing reaches your customer until you send the invoice from QuickBooks Online.

Set it up your way
Your choice, your rules
Pick the flow that matches how you quote today, or run both.
Where your quotes start
- For teams that run the whole sale in Salesforce.
- Every won opportunity becomes a draft QuickBooks invoice.
Both can run, each in its own integration. An opportunity made from a QuickBooks quote is never turned into a second invoice.
What you decide
From which date
Only opportunities won on or after the date you pick become invoices (60 days back by default). Older wins never do.
From which amount
Optionally only opportunities worth at least an amount you set, compared in the opportunity's own currency.
A primary contact
An invoice needs a customer, so an opportunity waits until it has a primary contact.
