What syncs between HighLevel and Jobber
Direction words mean exactly what they say. Two way means changes flow in both directions and the platform keeps the two systems agreeing. One way means data flows from the source into the destination.

Tags power a filter
HighLevel contact tags are read, and the integration offers a tag filter: only contacts carrying one of the chosen tags travel. Perfect for syncing only customer or booked tagged contacts into Jobber.
Smart upserts, no duplicates
Writing back into HighLevel uses HighLevel's own upsert by email and phone, with the platform handling the case where both changed at once. On the Jobber side, email and phone are checked before creating a client.
HighLevel quirks handled
HighLevel's search results carry the name a second time in lower case, and ids arrive in two different shapes; the integration always takes the properly cased name and normalizes the rest, so names never come back flattened to lower case.

Change detection
Every record has a fingerprint; unchanged records are skipped, so a settled sync writes nothing.
Echo protection
On the two way contact sync the platform remembers what it wrote, so its own update coming back from HighLevel is never mistaken for a new change.
Rate limit aware
HighLevel has strict per location limits, including a daily budget; the integration paces itself and, when a daily budget is spent, waits until it resets instead of failing.
Filters and controls
You decide what travels, and when
Tag filter
Only contacts with one of the chosen tags travel. Unique to sources that expose tags, and HighLevel does.
Contact trigger
Everyone, customers only, or leads only, driven by HighLevel's own contact type.
Sync from date
Only records dated on or after a chosen date travel. Contacts have no date and always travel.
Frequency
From every 30 minutes to every 3 days, per plan. Every 4 hours is included on every plan; faster intervals come with the higher plans.

How HighLevel connects
Private Integration Token
HighLevel connects with a Private Integration Token, created in the HighLevel sub account under Settings, Private Integrations. Paste the token and the Location ID, shown in Settings, Business Profile, into the setup wizard, done. The token never expires on its own.

A HighLevel sub account (location) with permission to create a private integration.
