CRM Connector Platform integration
HubSpot + Jobber Integration
Turn HubSpot marketing and sales into Jobber work. Contacts and invoices stay in sync in both directions, and deals and Jobber jobs follow each other, so nobody retypes a customer or an invoice.
- Sell in HubSpot, do the work in Jobber. Contacts stay in sync both ways, invoices follow.
At a glance
What syncs between HubSpot and Jobber
Direction words mean exactly what they say. Two way means changes flow in both directions and the platform keeps the two systems agreeing. One way means data flows from the source into the destination.
| Record type | Direction | What that means |
|---|---|---|
| Contacts | Two way | Created or changed on either side, appears and updates on the other. |
| Invoices | Two way | Created on either side appears on the other; dates and status stay in step both ways. |
| Deals | One way, in the direction the integration was set up | A HubSpot deal becomes a Jobber job, or a Jobber job becomes a HubSpot deal. |
Two way is a switch per record type. For each two way type you pick which system leads: when the same record changed on both sides between syncs, the leading side wins. Quotes are not offered for this pair, and custom properties are not synced today.

Customer or lead, properly detected
The lifecycle stage says who is a customer, and on top of that the platform sweeps won deals: a contact attached to a won deal counts as a customer even when the stage was never updated. Detection only ever promotes, never demotes.
Honest boundary
Lead source and lifecycle stage are read from HubSpot, not written into it. HubSpot owns its own funnel stages; the platform will not fight HubSpot's automation over them.

Deals and jobs
Deals are offered between HubSpot and Jobber only, because a Jobber job is the one record in the connected systems that means the same thing as a deal.
HubSpot deal to Jobber job
Name, amount, close date and the contact. A won deal arrives as completed work, a lost deal as cancelled, anything else as work in progress. Use the only when completed filter to turn exactly the won deals into Jobber jobs.
Jobber job to HubSpot deal
Title, amount, date and the contact. The deal is created in the account's first pipeline: finished work lands on the won stage, cancelled work on the lost stage, and everything else on the first open stage. A deal that already exists is only ever moved to won or lost, so a stage a salesperson picked by hand is never pulled back.
Custom pipelines work
Won and lost are read from the pipeline's own settings, not from the stage name, so renamed and custom stages are understood.

Invoices into Jobber
Invoices become Jobber invoices
Number, issued date, due date, status, total and line items, attached to the right client. A paid HubSpot invoice is settled in Jobber with Jobber's own mark received, and taken out of draft first, so clients earn their customer status from real work.
Line items
Description, quantity and unit price, never polluting Jobber's products and services list. Lines are set when the record is created in Jobber; later line edits in HubSpot do not rewrite them, because Jobber's API does not allow invoice line edits.

Jobber invoices into HubSpot
Set up the other way round, Jobber invoices become HubSpot invoices, attached to the right contact, with their lines, issue date, due date and payment term.
Status follows Jobber, and only ever forward
A sent or overdue Jobber invoice is an open HubSpot invoice. An invoice paid in Jobber becomes paid in HubSpot, and a voided one becomes voided. An invoice that is already paid or voided in HubSpot is left alone, so nothing a bookkeeper settled by hand is ever reopened. Overdue needs no sync at all: HubSpot works it out from the due date.
Currency, honestly
HubSpot only accepts invoices in a currency that is switched on in the account. When the Jobber currency is not switched on there, the invoice is still created, with the right amounts, in the currency the HubSpot account does accept. Switch the currency on in HubSpot and new invoices carry the right label too.
One contact per email
HubSpot keeps a single contact per email address, so two Jobber clients sharing an inbox land on the one HubSpot contact that carries it instead of failing.
Both ways when switched on
Issue date, due date and status are kept in step in both directions. Each system keeps its own invoice number: HubSpot shows the other system's number in the invoice comment, and a HubSpot number never replaces the Jobber one. Amounts and lines are set when an invoice is created and are not rewritten afterwards.
How the sync stays safe
Built to never damage your data
Change detection
Contacts are read with HubSpot's own modified since filtering, so a settled sync is quiet. Every record has a fingerprint; unchanged records are skipped.
Echo protection
On the two way contact sync the platform remembers what it wrote, so its own update coming back from HubSpot is never mistaken for a new change.
Contacts first, always
An invoice never syncs before its contact exists in Jobber.
No duplicates
Linked records are matched by id; before creating a Jobber client the platform checks email and phone.
Filters and controls
You decide what travels, and when
Sync from date
Only records dated on or after a chosen date travel, invoices by issue date. Contacts always travel.
Triggers per record type
Invoices when created, sent or paid; deals and jobs when created, unless cancelled, or only when completed; contacts everyone, customers only or leads only.
Frequency
From every 30 minutes to every 3 days, per plan. Every 4 hours is included on every plan; faster intervals come with the higher plans.
Connecting
How HubSpot connects
Official sign in (OAuth)
HubSpot connects with its official sign in (OAuth): click Connect, sign in to HubSpot, approve the app for the portal, done. The app asks only for the scopes it uses: contacts, deals, quotes, line items and invoices. Removing the connection from the platform invalidates the platform's access tokens at HubSpot; the app tile itself stays in the HubSpot portal until removed there, and the confirmation screen says so.
Requirements
A HubSpot account. The free CRM tier works for contacts; invoices need a HubSpot plan that includes them.
