Credentials for FreeAgent and Zoho Books are checked and sign in tokens refreshed automatically. If a connection was removed on either side, the integration pauses and you get one message with a reconnect button.

- For each two way record type you choose whether FreeAgent or Zoho Books leads. The leading side always runs first in a sync.
- It only matters when the same record changed in both systems between two syncs. Every other change simply travels.
- A record is never moved backwards by a sync: a paid invoice is not reopened, a decided quote is not undecided.

No. FreeAgent marks an invoice paid when you explain the payment from your bank feed, so the sync leaves that to you and never adds a second bank line. A payment made in FreeAgent does travel out.
Yes, both ways. Approved and rejected in FreeAgent travel as accepted and declined, and the other way round. A decided estimate is left as it is.
It is not created. A credit stays in the system it was made in.
