Stripe connects with a restricted API key from the Stripe dashboard. Paste it into the setup wizard, done. The key is stored encrypted and can be replaced at any time; the stored key is never shown.

The honest limits

Where a system draws a line, the page says so, so there are no surprises after go live.

  • The single name field is handled with care

    Stripe stores one name where other systems store first and last. It is split when reading, joined once when creating, and never rewritten afterwards, so names are not mangled.

  • No duplicates in Stripe

    Stripe happily stores two customers with the same email; the platform searches by exact email first and updates the match instead.

  • Customers only

    Stripe invoices prove who is a customer but do not sync as invoices.
